FIVE ALIVE. omg do you remember that juice? so good.

lots of strife in the fifth episode. rafe has too many t-shirts, rafe struggles with reading, both caleb and rafe struggle with the x-men movie timeline after watching days of future past (and they may not know the correct order of things so please feel free to correct them. also spoilers). renfaire talk. uncomfortable sexual noises. awkward english class experiences. the whispers of a thousand voices… a brief discussion of two great comic books, and of course, a sam rockwell movie and their songs of the week.

since the first giveaway was so much fun, we’ve decided to do another one. and GET THIS – if you’re a loyal* fan, you’ll get to choose a prize from our bag instead of just getting a random item. use the steps below! drawing will end on October 18, 2014 at midnight central time. we’ll announce a winner by October 24, 2014 and that winner will have one week to respond to accept the prize. we’ll list the fun prizes later (we’re lazy). in layman’s terms:

nice, the tetra-sode. the quadri-cast. the fourth one. rafe and caleb start by talking about the weather. no, not fucking joking. but it gets a little better after that. caleb fat dances, rafe admits she’s a horrible date, hates exercising, and other negative things. BUT YOU KNOW CALEB IS PERFECT OF COURSE. “dees guys.” they reminisce about house darts and gifs with sound. rafe talks more about adam johnson and her creepy interest in him (btw, vamp u really IS a fun movie). caleb talks about how awesome godzilla was (some spoilers). rafe gets sad again about not having kids, womp womp. and of course, they list their three top songs of the week and voice their opinions on the sam rockwell movie they watched: iron man 2.

hey look, it’s the second one. rafe went a little nuts on kickstarter (backing three bands and a video game) and tries doing a bill cosby impression. caleb quotes the best speech ever from independence day and does his awesome michael caine impression. we discuss drinking too much and get a little serious with discrimination in the workplace and in america. caleb is gracious enough to only call rafe a couple of names through the whole episode. rafe also complains about okcupid again. caleb and rafe reminisce about random, horrible things that have happened between them and of course discuss a sam rockwell movie (jerry & tom) and their three songs of the week. the phrase of the day is “fuck it.” two tears and a motherfucking bucket, whatever the hell that means.

welcome to the first ever episode of our podcast. like most first things, it’s kind of awkward. the sound quality is wonky because rafe is overpowering in all things and caleb forgot to accommodate. also internet connection. what’s this episode about? we review our first sam rockwell movie (glory daze), list our top three songs of the week (found here), and mention AIDS. rafe talks about online dating, comics she hasn’t read, and kickstarter (specifically DRAGON WARRIORS). caleb talks about being an angry man who loves food.

hey by the way, while joking around, caleb says genital warts is curable but it’s not. there’s a vaccine available that will protect a person (males AND females) from the most common strains of HPV. take care of yourselves, sexually active individuals!
