Wake Up, Ron Burgundy

caleb basically didn’t watch the movie this week, but it’s okay. caleb’s drinking a new beer. it’s a grapefruit sculpin from ballast point. and rafe is still not really watching trailers and caleb wants to talk about suicide squad. but hey rafe watched the trailer for jessica jones! go her! and then caleb ruins it. but rafe has a good time talking about wake up, ron burgundy. rafe tries to be morose and sincere about paris but caleb ruins it. our thoughts are with you, paris. rafe and caleb disagree on a political cartoon involving the statue of liberty. caleb talks socks with sandals. rafe rants a bit about arrow. caleb wants to bring dickbutt into everyone’s lives. and rafe turns her nose up at amazon’s dash buttons which prompts a confession from caleb about amazon shopping. caleb’s bringing mathlete to visit the family, so look forward to that. and caleb saw another show while in a terrible mood. rafe and caleb both complain about real life. rafe has some reservations about thanksgiving this year. caleb BURPS REALLY LOUD. they go through their songs about being awake, or asleep, and rafe has an honorable mention from brony. caleb sings most of a song. like for reals. he has some very strong feelings about rush. rafe’s bring place was about paris coming together and donating blood. next week is herbie fully loaded and songs about cars, but more importantly go watch this batman and robin short with justin long and sam rockwell BOTH IN IT TOGETHER. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story

brony got a car! caleb has thoughts about the warcraft trailer! rafe doesn’t, though. caleb has more thoughts on rafe not watching movie trailers. caleb continues to nerd out and rafe nerds out about helping the car salesguy, cory foxx, from suntrup hyundai south (she wants you to get your next car from this dude). they try to get topical but are woefully out of touch. caleb brings them back on track talking about the sequel to the girl with the dragon tattoo. then they quote die hard, which is excellent, and then london has fallen. caleb talks about comic books and preacher which leads to a conversation about TV pilots. then caleb decides to talk shit about eddie redmayne. rafe finally gets to talk about jonny lupsha’s next book, wandering city blues. caleb brings up the new star trek TV show and gives rafe a ton of shit for wanting to go through all the old stuff first. then caleb brings up through the looking glass and rafe gets the story completely wrong. pretty riveting stuff. caleb and rafe gush over dodgeball, including the alternate ending. they go through songs involving BALLS. rafe yells at everyone. the bright place was about a kid saving his classmate using knowledge from spongebob squarepants. next week, wake up ron burgundy: the lost movie. somgs will be about being asleep or awake. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

Hair High

rafe starts out saying stephen shimek’s name incorrectly when talking about nocturne, and then talks about german food. caleb had a drunken weekend in long island and has some moments in his head. he also goes over some of his favorite drinks. he visited with mathlete’s family. big step! rafe and caleb learn a bit about the boroughs of new york city and caleb goes through his weekend being pissy. caleb realizes he has to post some code for his jump aromatherapy mario level. rafe got brony a christmas present… now… and caleb rips rafe’s heart out. rafe talks fondly about her dad and says LIKE A MILLION TIMES. there’s an awkward moment where caleb hears a cricket. they were going to cut it out but didn’t. you’re welcome. they watched hair high for their justin long movie and wow was it a weird one. beetlejuice (the TV series) comes up and they argue about which network aired it. both are wrong – it was ABC, then fox kids. but back to hair high! it’s weird. be in a weird mood if you want to watch it. spoilers. they did songs about hair. caleb watched will ferrell in “ferrell takes the field” which is apparently worth a watch. rafe’s bright place is about yao ming saving sharks and rhinos and elephants! next week, dodgeball and songs about BALLS. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.
