rafe tries to force caleb to tell stories, but it dissolves into a boring talk about business. rafe brings up anxiety attacks. caleb makes fun of rafe, and she also talks a bit about work. it’s pretty boring for the first 10 minutes or so. but caleb’s deck comes back up – heyooooo. rafe is interested in finishing the adventures of hercules II and caleb has a problem with it. they butt heads about community and rafe’s love of inuyasha. rafe can’t say apocalympics. good lord. but anyway! stories about the rio olympics! rafe doesn’t tell caleb to watch empire records. they talk diets, froman, final fantasy’s obsession with weather, and world of warcraft’s pre-legion update. and rick and morty acting out a court scene. they watched 10 years and rafe rails against high school reunions. caleb has woes about the trunk club. and then they go through their songs where rafe is ten and caleb is years. next week, the justin long movie is alvin and the chipmunks: chipwrecked and do songs about the sea. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

quick shout out to jake stormoen – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! also rafe wants to share a funny twitter story (and you should follow them on twitter). rafe almost throws up at caleb using the word pus (starts at 2:48 and ends at 3:58). caleb found the best pokemon go subreddit. they talk rasicm, #AllPokemonMatter, donald trump’s star, and peeing. #RacismWow! caleb teaches rafe about roger rabbit. caleb gives the audience a peak into his thoughts on stranger things, which he’ll talk about on dudewatches. caleb tries to come to terms with his weird reaction to pop culture, and rafe reminisces about anime. then she warns against texting. they discuss the conspirator because, of course, justin long was in it. meany was in it, too. star trek dude. and caleb ruins the departed for everyone. rafe has a great idea about nail polish… super great… caleb struggles with a six degrees of bacon situation using oracleofbacon.org. they do songs about presidents, which prompts a trip down memory lane, namely about brad neely who is effing amazing. you know what else is amazing? mistaking the word “deck” for “dick.” lots of laughs. next week, their justin long movie is 10 years. they fight a bit about the songs, but rafe wins. ten and years! and gagging. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

Alpha & Omega (Pokemon Go)

pokemon GO? YES! pokemon GO!!! for like a half hour, rafe and caleb talk all about the ups and downs of pokemon GO! rafe does her IT support desk stuff and walks caleb through checking his apps that are allowed full access to his google account. it’s exhausting, but hopefully it helps someone else. anyway, pokemon GO is the tits. more news related to pokemon GO: the holocaust museum. yup. also real-life fights, how to properly balance work-pokemon life, and pikachu get. caleb talks about his bro date which – you guessed it – involves pokemon GO (but also retro gaming). they talk about their favorite things about the game. rafe loves a kid’s innovation and caleb loves the connection to his brothers. rafe nerds out over corsair computer case fans. no, really. then she brings everyone down by talking about the president of the philippines being fucked up in the head. college classes are over, and caleb and rafe celebrate by complaining. but also pokemon GO!!! and caleb talks a bit about nerdy stuff revolving around dan harmon in harmonquest. also seeso and safety words. after all the pokemon GO stuff simmers down, they discuss the justin long movie, alpha and omega. caleb uses dad rationalization, and rule 34 comes up. rafe did songs about being first and caleb did songs about being last. and rafe sings a little, sorry. next week, they’ll be engrossed in the conspirator, where justin long plays some dude in history. songs will be about presidents. and maybe there will be more stuff about pokemon GO to talk about, too. one can dream… don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.
