two big news stories starting this delightful podcast regarding lions and cheaters. then web advertisements. and warriors. caleb ponders all the bad words that the FCC hates and also friendship. and moistness. ugh. this spawns an odd game of “would you rather.” rafe brings the mood crashing down by talking about denying the reality of death and avoiding nihilism. caleb drops some sick truth because he’s the best. um, yo momma jokes? that happens. they chat a bit about life and being hungry and old saturday night live. the sam rockwell movie is 13 moons. rafe has a hell of a time keeping all her sam movies straight, but they quickly jump into their songs that have numbers in them. bright place was all about you should like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

starting off on a huge down note, rafe and caleb complain about life and rafe’s work. she goes into way too much detail about her opinions and how she’s letting said opinions be known. caleb’s been drunk sleeping a lot and not taking care of himself. he went to a wedding and took care of some drunk people and then he gets completely irritated with the peter capaldi doctor who. a few spoilers talking about the first episode of season eight. btw rafe still loves doctor who, regardless of caleb’s angry rant about darkness. rafe got a sweet tweet from jake stormoen and caleb talks about his kitchen work. rafe gets hungry. and hey sam rockwell is still around FOR NOW. it’s celebrity, the woody allen movie. rafe basically recaps the whole damn movie so you’re welcome. the songs are all about breakups. rafe goes through a bright place where a man’s wallet from WWII was returned to him after 70 years, which reminds caleb of a similar experience aka doing an arnold schwarzenegger impression. next week’s movie will be 13 moons and songs with numbers in them. they need you to guess the next actor they’ll be watching. tag @rafehatescaleb. caleb is finally taking advantage of his networking and gets his coworkers to like the podcast page. he talks about his boring work with rafe and then rafe talks about boring cars and caleb is an ass about it. arguing about about sushi and bickering about consumer reports. caleb is on point this episode! rafe worries about russia trying to take over the north pole. sadly, rafe watched farce of the penguins… and it was pretty bad… but then caleb talks about wet hot american summer: first day of camp! awesome! rafe finds interesting, alternate words for fun and caleb won’t help her by making some badass mac n cheese by chef stuart o’keeffe. sad face. caleb was “wrong wrong wrong wrong, wrong wrong wrong wrong” about being on the last sam rockwell movie. so the search for one-eye jimmy is worth a watch. we’ll see about celebrity, the NEXT sammy rockwell movie. almost done… almost… songs theme this week is titles with names in ’em. caleb recites almost all of a song and then blindsides rafe with tinder and completely ruins rafe’s bright place about cecil the lion. but full recovery – lenny kravitz’s dick was exposed on stage after a “wardrobe malfunction (NSFW!!).” rafe judges. caleb cuts her off before it gets too weird. they need you to guess the next actor they’ll be watching. tag @rafehatescaleb. My Life is a Drunk Nightmare

on a positive note, caleb is drinking. he does a short review of peroni. rafe interrupts the jokes to talk about perseverance regarding some old shoes. caleb is about to embark on the worst idea ever, which is having too many jobs and going to college. the better seasons are fast approaching and caleb warms up for his dark place. he also reminisces about his alcoholic binges and preps for hanging out with his drunk friend, who has nightmares. rafe reads about the worst blowie mistakes and laughs about ellie kemper’s dry blowjob. they giggle a bit about sharknado 3 and caleb talks about his regret with watching punisher: war zone. rafe brings up a show streaming on netflix where she actually knows one of the actors, then gives some embarrassing details regarding her adolescence. caleb went on a date!!! it went really well and then everything went to shit. they talk about somebody to love, their sam rockwell movie this week. and of course, they choose songs about stupid love as their theme. next week will be the search for one-eye jimmy and songs with names in the titles. they need you to guess the next actor they’ll be watching. tag @rafehatescaleb.
