things are going all right! rafe struggles with her high-low so she does her default complaining about work. caleb explores the outer rims of gluttony via fair food and has been enjoying the scientist. they talk about life, love, and winning money. but most importantly, THEY PLAN A TRIP TOGETHER. because of little women, which is going to be a great movie released at the end of september. it’s directed by the lovely and talented clare niederpruem. caleb talks about his adventures with ignoring suggestions related to entertainment, specifically a book series. they trudge through their two bruce willis movies, live free or die hard (2007) and nancy drew (2007). they did songs about freedom and snooping. next week they’ll be reviewing another two bruce willis movies, assassination of a high school president (2008) and what just happened? rafe and caleb talk a bit about politics (rafe brings up gary johnson joking about pot), then they both recap their weekends. rafe gushes a bit about craft fairs and then gets attacked by a mosquito and caleb thinks it’s hilarous. brony makes a short appearance. caleb comes up with a poem for the mosquito. caleb plays some music for rafe because EEEEWWWGHH. caleb saw doctor strange and is now netflix-current with the flash (he’s been busy). some dnd happened, and some rafe tries to identify the guys in her phone. rafe finds an adorable gif of a dag on a boat. they watched their last justin long move, ghost team, and did songs about ghosts and teams. caleb laughs about being called nice, and they joke about privilege. then they go over alan rickman movies. the first one rafe and caleb will be watching is romeo & juliet (1978)! their songs will be titles that are “something” & “something.” don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

it’s literally halloween and caleb has some very important interruptions during the show. he also got beat up, which reminds rafe of veronica mars. there was an RL stine AMA, if you like that sort of thing. and then caleb’s cat derails everything. they reminisce about utah, drinking, and rafe gets way to close to the mic. caleb does some crazy shit with his computer and is catching up on the flash (not the arrow, because yeah. the arrow). they watched justin long be cute in yoga hosers. caleb summarizes the whole movie so that you don’t have to watch it ever. rafe rattles off a bunch of suggested alternate titles and suddenly caleb has a bologna crisis. he does a mini comparison with kevin smith movies. btw caleb keeps getting up to pass out candy. they do songs about stretching and BOY WAS IT A STRETCH eyyyyyyyy!! there’s some real talk about gary and how great he is #TweeterOutTheButtholer! they go through future sam rockwell movies (always hoping for more movies from him) and get ready for the alan rickman run. next week, they’ll be watching justin long movie in ghost team. rafe will do ghost songs and caleb is team. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.

Spooktacular 2016! (Tusk)

rafe warms up on the air, and then things get serious when rafe mourns a loss. then caleb and rafe establish the drinking game rules:
1. can’t say FUN
2. must respond to SPOOKTACULAR by making ghost noises
3. if someone sings, you have to combat it with another related song, or drink
4. special audience rule: drink whenever they say “BETCH”
please feel free to play along, if you are of a legal drinking age and won’t drive drunk.
they discuss the twitter vote (winner is announced, guys. it’s a pretty big deal) and caleb complains about his computer and rafe complains about drinking. rafe is trying to get brony to watch the room, and caleb gets sidetracked with masturbation. they swear and drink. rafe tries to read a crappy poem on the internet which goes horribly wrong, and they talk about tusk, starring justin long, written/directed by kevin smith. caleb has some thoughts on haley joel osment, who was also in tusk. caleb recites REALLY BAD POETRY. caleb makes rafe spill her drink after almost spitting out stuff. then rafe reads some of her old stupid myspace posts and caleb pisses her off. they do their songs about animals and caleb sings A LOT. next week, they’ll be watching justin long in yoga hosers, and they’ll do songs about stretching. don’t forget to like rafe hates caleb on facebook and follow @rafehatescaleb on twitter to stay in the loop with all their shenanigans.
